Beaches
Enjoy the magnificent beaches and coves along the Costa Blanca. From Dénia to Pilar de la Horadada, youll find beaches for all tastes: quiet coves and bustling beaches with either sand dunes or fine shingles.
Go beachcombing across the sand dunes in Guardamar del Segura and have a refreshing swim in the sea.

Culture
Visit Valencia. It is fast overtaking Barcelona as one of the hippest cities in Europe.

Admire the works of great artists such as Goya, El Greco and Velazquez in the Museum of Fine Arts.
Visit the City of the Arts and Sciences, designed by Santiago Calatrava, and now considered as one of the major leisure complexes in Europe.
Visit La Canal de Navarrés and La Safor and see the cave paintings, now World Heritage sites.
Go to a magnificent concert in Liria, a town which is famous for its music activities. It has two orchestras and hosts many international symphony orchestras throughout the year.
Stroll through the old city centre of Valencia, visiting the Lonja, now listed as a World Heritage site, the Central Market, the Cathedral, the Palau de la Generalitat, the Palace of the Marquis of Dos Aguas, the Serranos and the Quart towers.
Sightseeing
Visit the 12th century castle in Dénia, walk through the cobbled streets and fishermans quarter then have a long leisurely lunch in one of the pretty waterside restaurants.
Experience a real Spanish fiesta in Dénia, which is in the record books for holding a fiesta on average every eight days!
Visit the nearby towns of Altea, filled with charm, and stroll round its attractive fishermen's quarter, and l'Alfàs del Pi, with its spectacular landscape between the Sierra Helada and the sea.

Travel inland to the districts of Vinalopó Mitjà and Vinalopó Alto, and discover castles, excellent cuisine and fine wines (Monóvar, Novelda, Sax, Villena, Biar, Aspe, Monforte del Cid and Petrer).
National Parks
Get in touch with nature in the beautiful nature parks of La Marjal de Pego in Oliva, the nature parks of Montgó in Dénia and Jávea or the Peñón de Ifach in Calpe.
Climb the Montgó mountain and enjoy a good meal with a view over the blue Mediterranean and the steep coastal cliffs.
Visit the beautiful nature parks of Font Roja in Alcoi, Sierra Mariola, Salinas in Santa Pola, of Lagunas in Mata y Torrevieja.
Do some trekking in the Bernia sierra. You can cross the entire crest of the mountains at one thousand metres above sea level, with magnificent vistas.
Enjoy nature at its best in the Alto Turia district. You can visit the animal reserve of La Serratilla in the mountains near Benagéber, climb the Remedio peak in Chelva, or hike through the ravines formed by the River Turia.
