Villamartín

Par 72/6132m Although Villamartín has previously been host to the Mediterranean Open, it has yet to forge a great international reputation, but it is well worth a visit.

While not a terribly long course, the layout has personality and has been cleverly adapted to the terrain thanks to Paul Putnam’s keen imagination. A number of short par 4s are fun to play, and the water is only really in play on three holes.

The par 3 17th has been described as one of the most difficult in Spain. This is a most versatile and generally well-prepared course, easy to play with the family or with players of all different abilities.
