La Sella
The Montgo mountain provides a stunning backdrop to this Par 72/6072m Championship course which winds through a valley of orange and almond groves. With well-positioned bunkers and water coming into play on the 3rd and 8th, it is a challenging course for players of all abilities.
You will find La Sella a delightful, interesting and varied course. José Maria Olazábal, the course’s designer has produced an exciting layout. Set within a valley with a variety of trees lining most fairways, the course presents some excellent driving situations and fast greens.
The 6th hole is most memorable, with a shoot through trees leading to a narrow fairway. The front line here is as good as you could wish for, being both sporty and picturesque.
The back nine is slightly newer and more open, with fine views of the nearby mountains. Some cavernous, well-placed bunkers protect the greens and fairways, beware! Almond, orange and grapefruit trees line the fairways.
