Alicante
Par 72/6270m Golf Alicante is situated at Playa de San Juan, very near to Alicante. This modern, balanced course was conceived and designed by Seve Ballesteros. The course has six par-3s, six par-4s and six par-5s, the first course in Spain and the second in Europe to have an equal number of par 3s, 4s and 5s. The main feature of the course is the vast abundance of water - there are five lakes. Greens are large and defended by strategically located bunkers. Your round will increase in difficulty as it goes on.
The course is very well maintained and has two unusual features. The first is the lake in the shape of an S (the initial of the designer) surrounding the green on the 9th. The second is the Roman ruins, built in the first century, next to the 14th, which the player has to clear to reach the green. Every hole calls for a different strategy, and the course is suited for players of all abilities.
